Marvel, and at some point, receives the american nickname, kiki. Nakia shauku (/ ˈnɑːkiə /) is a character appearing in american comic books published by marvel comics
Created by christopher priest and mark texeira, the character first appeared in black panther vol She serves as a love interest to t'challa, also known as the black panther. The wakandan nakia protects her country from outside forces as a war dog, one of its most accomplished espionage agents.
Nakia was descended of a gentle tribal fisherman of q'noma valley in the african nation of wakanda
From an early age, she was groomed, as many girls are, to be one of the throne's adored ones, an order of women known as the dora milaje, who serve as the king of wakanda's personal guard. He is a native of fort payne, alabama. She grew up to be fiercely independent, though she also developed a romantic relationship with prince t’challa, son of king t’chaka and heir to the throne Though they seemed destined to wed, nakia’s path led her to train for and become a member of wakanda’s war dogs, an elite espionage group.
Nakia, also known as malice, is one of the black panther’s deadliest foes—and was once one of his most valued allies Formerly one of wakanda’s dora milaje, or “adored ones”—a group of deadly women that act as the king’s fiercest bodyguards—nakia was a trusted confidant of t’challa’s. Growing up nakia went by the more familiar epithet kiki, but recently she has become more devoutly muslim and doesn't want the amreeki nickname anymore [2] the backstory for nakia's name that developed in the comics is that she was named after the nurse who delivered her.
Nakia is the deuteragonist of the 2018 film black panther and a major character in its 2022 sequel black panther
